A reminder about the Iraq War Resolution.
These people knew better than to approve a trumped up charge for war, and they didn't need a British leak to tell them the case for war was weak.

I will even throw a weak shout-out to Lincoln Chafee, the lone Republican holdout.

These people set aside whatever electoral concerns they had to stand up for our nation's military when it mattered most.

So thanks again, Nay 23. I haven't forgotten.

5. Hey,
take all the allies you can. Unite the anti-war front. Fight the other battles when they come.

8. Maybie we can deal with 'closet republicans' and adopt a 'don't ask
or tell' policy..Then they might fold in as 'ladies and gentlemen' and we can as we might from them..

4. Courage in the face of adversity is a trait I'd put at #1 on my wish list.
And it doesn't get any better than that.

9. Wellstone's Dying Vote
And (suprise, suprise) his re-elect ratings shot up before he was shot down.

I just hope the soul and pride of the Democratic party isn't sharing a plot along with Wellstone.
