4. Let me get this straight.....
Heritage Foundation is the conservative republican think tank

CATO Institute is the conservative libertarian think tank

Brookings Institute is the liberal democratic think tank

I think I'm correct on that. Are their other political party affiliated think tanks with any influence on policy research and issues?

13. Multiple as in Repub, Dem and Lib parties all have multiple
think tanks, not just one each as the poster indicated.

man, just when you think the Busheviks have reached the top in stupidity, greed, and cruelty, they come up with something new.

Iran could actually fight back, for one thing. For another, they have an internal pro-democracy movement that would be pegged as treasonous if the U.S. attacked. For yet another, I bet that even the pro-democracy types would take up arms to repel a foreign invader.
