We are entering a zone that would have been unthinkable only five years ago. That we have become what we used to condemn in others in the short span of five decades tells me that our adherence to the rule of law was only skin deep.It would come as a shock to most Americans to realize we are capable of just as much evil as the rest of them.But they won't care because America means well.

5. What I was trying to say was to use Extraordinary Rendition.In trying

to convert it to a verb it turned into 'rendered' which, my grade school English teacher, would have strongly disapproved of.Thanks for pointing this out.I want to be on the right side of Mrs.Summers and any grammar transgressions would invite a cold stare from that formidable lady.

It's not like the rest of the world's governments aren't just as bad. Big shock: the US is run by criminals, like everyplace else. US companies want profits and don't give a shit about other things, just like everywhere else.
