The misspellings are a classic way for them to get around spam blockers.

4. This looks a lot like some kind of "fishing"

probably to verify a valid address. Mailing lists with verified addresses are much more valuable than just mass-harvested addresses. My personal policy is to *never* respond to anything of this sort.
