I gotta break the habit of switching to C-SPAN on Friday. I don't know why I bother. Thus far today, we've heared a gazillion excuses for * on the budget and a gazillion more assurances that he's a "humble" man of faith and Tom Delay is just another guy. Now we're going we get to hear Tamar Jacoby explain why it's okay for people to enter the country illegally.

1. Yes, and I caught Tom DeLete's speech on humility and his...

...preaching about how everyone would be so much better if everyone practiced more of it, everyone that is except him! Tom DeLay might try doing some googling on the meaning of the word humility and then demonstrate by example rather than by preaching. If one talks about humility and tries to tell others what they need to do to be more humble, they don't have humility themselves.

2. I need to stop watching on Fridays too...

I heard so many ridiculous assertions about Chimpy McDumb Dumb, it made me ill. How can anyone call that arrogant piece of shit, humble?

4. This Jacoby lady is out of control

NOBODY from either side seems to agree with her, yet she keeps spouting the same catch phrases over and over again. I've concluded that this is all about propaganda, and a lot of Americans are falling for it.

5. I agree. I don't understand why the Dems

do not stand up for the people. The problem of illegal immigration not only hurts our economy and our education system, but it is a national security issue. If we can't produce all products here at some level and we have whole industries that our people are not able to perform because we don't have education or training in performing those tasks, we are vulnerable. What if there is a catastrophic event? We would need to rebuild our society from the ground up. Then on the other hand, that we've allowed these politicians to set policies that contribute to this, may mean we deserve what we'd get.
