Are you "officially" scared yet?
National ID coming.
In Texas--they are pushing to put transponders embedded into your inspection stickers.
Churches throwing out members that are Democrats.

Is it fascism yet?

I'm ready to start going North, lol.
Maybe thats why the Minutemen are headed North too--to keep us all in.:scared:

2. Don't forget about the Bush bots berating the mother/sister/husband of a
deceased daughter at her funeral because the deceased had a blue "hope" bracelet on. If that's not scary, I don't know what the hell is.

4. I think DISGUSTED describes what I feel
more accurately.
All of it sickens and disgusts me.
The church that threw it's Dem members out is
the reason I, as a Christian will leave this country as
soon as I can. These people, these so called"Christians"
are not Christians at all.
They are guilty of false worship and idol worship.
They have put something between them and God.
George Bush.
Bush is their God and therefore they do not KNOW God.
They are a blight on my faith.

but now that term just makes me feel so sleazy.
Who would have ever thought you would feel "dirty" if you were called a good Christian?

29. Try not to feel like that...
if you let them make you feel that way,
they have won.
Go read 1John 4-
I keep that one close at all times these days.
Follow up with 1John 5 :13-15.
I PROMISE you'll feel better-

5. Sickened, not scared.
I wonder just how bad America will get before another civil war starts. It looks like the repugs will have all three branches of government next week. The national ID will go into effect. The government will know our every move at any given time. We will no longer be a free country. Our constitution will be totally gone. What have I left out?

Welcome to 1939 Germany.

12. That makes no sense at all
but I have a feeling that good people will be hiding gay people in their homes from this regime before it is all over.
Much like the way the Jews were hidden in 1933 Germany.
Then they will come for the single mothers.
Then they will come for the Democrats.

9. put out today on another board
going to talk to husband and tell him to seriously watch as things come, and consider whether we want to live elsewhere. we have talked about it jokingly, but seriously to understand may be what we ultimately want.

lets add the woman with the post getting medicine for parkisons and attack by some man calling her a baby killer, when not a word was said about the research. and the woman burying her sister and people attacking the family because of a plastic bracelet.

i am just horrified by this behavior

Re-reading Thomas Paine and Ben Franklin is not helping my mood at all. So here I sit, in the company of the Revolutionaries, sipping Scotch and nursing a big, bad mean.

18. I'm not so much scared as I am REALLY pissed off
I'm pissed at so much of what I see and experience

I'm pissed every time I have to fly and suffer the indignity of not being able to carry a fucking lighter and having to prove I'm a good fucking citizen who just wants a ride to where I'm going.

I'm pissed every fucking time I enter a **civilian** office building and have to show sixteen forms of ID and swear to give over my firstborn male child if I am not who I say I am.

I'm pissed off every time I see some Dem **I** helped get elected vote for some piece of shit law like that bankruptcy crap.

I get REALLY pissed every time I see that fuckwad of a 'president' we have holding one his closed-to-the-public circle jerks of love.

I get pissed off every time I see some shit for brains media whore shilling this or that talking point.

I get pissed off BIG time when I see our troops used as little more than cannon fodder, only to then suffer the insult of near-complete abandonment by the motherfucking shit birds who put them in danger.

I get angrier than hell when I hear the words 'terror' ... or 'security' .... or 'religion' ..... or 'values' ..... or any of a host of other formerly benign words now so cancer ridden that they're impossible to even recognize anymore.

I'm pissed that I even have to type this shit on a fucking internet website cuz there's no place else to even get my frustrations out where there's some sympathetic ears.

Yeah .... I'm a little scared ... not so much for me ... but for my wife, who, unlike me, is too young to be in the proposed 'safe' zone of social security .... for my kids who face a far less prosperous and happy future than I faced (the first generation in American history to face that prospect).

But more than that ....... I AM FUCKING PISSED OFF.

19. Just a benign question
How does one go about moving out of the country if that is what they desire?
Do you have to apply?
I had thought Mexico sounded great--but there is so much turmoil down there.
I am thinking Italy sounds nice--but it is so far away.
But would think that Canada will be the place for me.

34. Even if frist can't push
his "Nuclear Option", the republicans will steal another four seats in the senate and then it won't matter. I would say fuck 'em and leave if it wasn't for the fact that the environment and the poor will be the hardest hit.

I'm sort of torn. I don't want to leave but then I know that it will be bad for everyone once everything starts spilling over. I think I'm going to pay off my credit card and then I'm going to get ready for the fall, because without a doubt it's coming. If something doesn't change, it will be upon us and we won't have anything to do or say about it.

Furthermore, when it does happen we--you and I--will be blamed by our children and grandchildren. It will be sort of like what we feel about those who stood by and watched the Nazis rise to power all those years ago.
