Poll question: What's your opinion of the UK election results?
I think it's great.

As long as the Tories don't take over, I'd like to see poodle boy Blair take as many losses as possible. This is a case were losses to "send a message" are the right tactic. Now maybe Labour will wake up, ditch Blair's policies and maybe even get rid of him sooner.

3. Most likely, Blair will get 18 months-2 years before his party replaces
him...He made a bad choice in siding with Bush on Iraq. It'll cost him 1/2 of his 3rd term.

4. Tories picked up a lot of the slack. I was hoping LibDems would.

It's a good thing Labour just got a bloody nose instead of an ass kicking.

5. Could've been better...
I'd rather have seen a bigger swing to the Tories - Not enough to get them in power, but enough to make a hung parliament. The LibDems would surely get a say in forming a coalition.

As it stands, it's the same shit on a different day... I doubt Tony gives a shit about messages being sent.

7. losing nearly 100 seats
with some in Labour willing to buck him on troops in Iraq -- I think he gets the message -- now will he listen?

10. I remember going to Hyde Park
with a million other people, two years ago. He didn't get the message then, either. He doesn't do messages.

8. That's my feeling as well
A close Parliament would give the LibDems all the leverage. This outcome is not good.

6. Glad that Galloway won his seat
last time I heard. I wonder how long
the economy will support the Labor Party...

9. This is bad.
Blair will do exactly what Bush did: declare that the vote vindicates his policies including Iraq.

Labour is fractured. They don't have the balls to dump Blair even though they should have done it well BEFORE the election.

11. Where are the results?
Are y'all talking about exit polls? Everything I see is that Labour is only losing a few seats at this point. Don't forget - exit polls suck at predicting results. Maybe they're using Diebold machines over there.

Counting is still going on, but it's in the bag for Tony.
