Sooooo, there was this idiot doing a Mr Rogers impression on CNN
The graphic said "The New Iraq"; it appeared to be a live press conference Dubya was giving, except for the whole not-taking-questions part. He kept blithering about "the neighborhood" and then there was something about how he'd know more about this after he talks to the UN Security Council next week. Not one of his outstanding performances, and that's really saying something. Apparently, I came in late on his announcement that Saddam wasn't behind 9/11:

Still, not as late as the Bush Administration...

1. Iraq not involved in 9/11?
Wait, wait! Then why did we go to war?

2. I think the part I saw was him saying it was
"to make the neighborhood safer." In the linked story (assuming the link still works) there's some kind of rigmarole from Rice or Cheney (I can't stomach reading it again) that it was (paraphrased) to create stability in the region from which 9/11 originated. As Dave Barry would say, I am not making this up. Maybe they just couldn't find Saudi Arabia on the map.

3. War?
The next thing we'll here is "we never went to war."

Congress never authorized a war, how could we have fought a war? What we did was engage in a peace keeping mission.

Yeah, thats it. A peace keeping mission. And (follow me here...), since we are not at war, we must be at peace, true?

Therefore, our peace keeping mission was hugely successful!

Don't you feel all warm and fuzzy now?
