2nd term approval ratings - well, if this isn't interesting-

Here is the link to the story:

See, this is just further proof that * stole the election. Reagan, as much as I detested him, actually did win his 2 elections as did Clinton. Their approval ratings reflect pretty much what they should based on their re-election numbers.

So do *'s.

1. I find the fact that he was
below the number he was supposedly elected with on innauguration day even more compelling. By that time usually people are willing to give the guy a chance and the numbers are higher than on election day but not with him.

Did you see Conyers blog:

3. But the author didn't miss an opportunity to pump him up!
Last paragraph...
"But, historians note that without any brewing scandals or long-term distractions, President Bush has something of an advantage over his predecessors as he pivots from the first 100 days to the rest of his second term."

4. Long term distractions?
Iraq will just go away

High gas prices will just go away

Deficits will just go away

Social Security will be just fine and dandy

5. Yes, it was rather disgusting, wasn't it?
No brewing scandals?!? There are freaking scandals all over the place! Just because the corp. media won't report on them doesn't mean that they aren't out there.

6. Yup.
The only thing to actually get his numbers as high as Reagan's or Clinton's is fear and even that doesn't work anymore.
