Cable News spent yesterday prepping us for a NUKE attack!
Is anyone else the slightest bit concerned about this? I had the teevee on sporadically yesterday, and watched more Cabal News that I've seen since the Schiavo-Pope-a-Thon. And all day, repeating every hour, were film clips on Nuke attack preparedness.

Hmmm...maybe we're getting a preview of the BFEE election strategy. They're gonna need something dramatic to win with 30% poll numbers!

Please VOTE for these new designs!

4. Sorry, interpolating
Bush's "real" published poll numbers -- the best they can dredge up, even when AVERAGING unnammed polls, is about 40-45%. Deduct 10% for the BushCo Lie Factor, and viola...30%.

5. I thought it was for the draft...
They had the Joint Chief of Staff saying we are understaffed...all the military branches aren't meeting enlistment quotas...my thought was "this is preparation for a coming draft." I'm sick about it...not only because I have 2 boys 18-30 (and a daughter, for that matter), but because with unlimited troops, what will * destroy next?

6. I know and it took me back about 50 years. Dull day at news I guess
Bush and the news must want us to go back to the cold war stuff once more. I think it hid the fact that the House just spent another 81 B IN OUR MONEY ON Bush AND CO, play THING IN Iraq.

7. Juxtaposed with reports on Iran's nuclear plans
That's how CNN For Idiots was carrying it, every half an hour.

I think the neocon's have figured out (if they didn't plan it all along) that the next step will be Iran. That's what the large permanent infrastructure in Iraq is likely for.
