2. Hi SoCalDem!!!!

Well the hurricane has shut down the Federal Government in D.C. for two days, and that's pretty impressive. However our fair city is famous for panicing unnecessarily during adverse weather.

I have a course to attend but it probably will end early if it's held at all.

I can feel that sticky hot SOB! I can feel her in the air. Yuck. Guess I'll turn the air conditioning on while I still have power.

Isabel still hasn't made landfall but her rain bands have reached this far inland--we've got light rain and some wind so far.
