Poll question: How long before the Runaway Bride's fiancée gets arrested
Either this guy is the mastermind or co-conspirator of a well thought-out hoax

OR

he's willing to "forgive" her because his lawyers have made him aware of all the money that his bride is going to make from all the obscene publicity

OR

I'm dreaming, and he's simply a forgiving goofball who's still in love with an imbecile who's got serious doubts about him.

3. All I know...
is that if we keep treating the story as news, so will the corporate media

6. Actually, I'm treating this story as a joke, a joke played on the media
by a couple of con artists who are set to make a bundle of money for their efforts!

4. Just on the news. Bridezilla has gotten cold feet before
getting married in a previous engagement. Yes, she left another guy standing at the altar. It seems she has some serious issues to go through before she thinks about getting married again, like, could she be a lesbian? Could she not want to be married before having a career and traveling? She has lots of things to go through. I hope her family can be supportive.

5. French (and thus English) spelling:
fiancée = woman engaged to a man (the extra 'e' is a feminine ending)
fiancé = man engaged to a woman

Sometimes I read halfway through a post on DU with the wrong impression because people get this wrong so often. I know it's obvious what's really meant in this case, but I just want people to get it right more often (I'd say there is, at best, a 50:50 success rate).

7. oops. Thanks for the correction
Hey, who knows, maybe the runaway bride has not only a fiancé, but a fiancéee, which is the new word for a secret girlfriend who's engaged to her and waiting in the wings for same-sex marriage laws to get passed in Georgia.
