Is "The Runaway Bride" a new tv sitcom, or did I miss something?
I haven't watched tv news for weeks. I've been reading about The Runaway Bride here on DU for the last few days and I'm gradually starting to realize that it may not be one of the new spring lineup of new shows.

I have 2 questions. Am I right that it is not a new spring lineup sitcom? Should I care?

1. you are right, it is a real live happening. but who knows, reality t.v.may
turn it into some sort of serialized show. the bridegroom is supposed to speak tonight as to why he is still going to marry the pressured bride. don't know if he has already done so. don't care to watch it. will no doubt read it on one of the DU threads.

6. Preparation for new Fox show..."Find my Bride!"
Zany heterosexual antics abound as three couples who are not yet married, and do not know each other in the "Biblical sense" are separated and put in different rooms. The brides must assemble their entire wedding in 15 minutes, and then flee with only 500 bucks and a laptop.

The grooms then are let out of their room where they are taped swapping the naughty bits of their past history.

The winning couple is the groom that finds the bride with her on-line secret lover, or past high school fling. Bonus prizes will be given unknown to the contestants for the groom to abandon the search for his wife to be, and enter into a gay relationship with one of his best men, or lesbianism of any kind by the wives to be.

Vetting of the contestants pre-purity will be administered by Focus on the Family.

7. It would work as a Seinfeld episode
which was a show that admitted it was about nothing.
