Donna Frye fined $3k for using too-small type size in campaign mailers.
"Frye called it an honest oversight by the person in charge of her mailers, who didn't realize the council had changed its campaign laws in October. The new law required anyone distributing more than 200 similar pieces of mail to note in 12-point type who sent – and who paid for – the campaign literature.

The relevant type size in Frye's mailers ranged from 7-point type to 9-point type, although each also signaled in larger letters elsewhere on the mailers that the recipients should vote Frye for mayor."

1. Don't you just want to strangle someone??
It's ok to nit-pick over stuff like this..and the weight of paper for Ohio ballots, but it's perfectly ok to NOT COUNT VOTES ???

WTF

4. "San Diego Ethics Commission"! Thats an oxymoron if ever.
Think Roger Hedgecock and the city councilman on trial now for taking bribes from strip-club owners to abolish the "no touch" law.

We have the worst and stupidest bunch of elected officials in the country.

3. The neocons are trying to stick it to a dem that got more votes
than their boy, who was handed the election on a vague technicality, and then resigned in disgrace.
Yeah, thats about right.
This is truly "Chickenshit"!
