Husband wants wife kept alive ... or he could face murder charge
SYDNEY, Australia -- It's being compared in some ways to the Terri Schiavo case.

A man in Australia has been fighting for the right to make a life-or-death decision about his unconscious wife --only he wants her kept alive.

The alternative could be a murder charge.

Maria Korp was found unconscious after being trapped in the trunk of her car for five days. Her husband, Joe, and his former lover are accused of trying to kill her.

If this were in Florida, I wonder which side Jeb Bush and the religious right would come down on...err on the side of 'life' or on the side of being able to lethally inject the husband?

1. Similar to a case in the Southwest
Except that the victim was a toddler. He (I believe) had been beaten to the point of brain dead by his father, and the father was trying to prevent life support being withdrawn.

Can anyone from NM or AZ provide more info?
