3. Because, as usual...
... they ran with the story without doing a single whit of investigation and chose, instead, to sensationalize it as an immense human interest story. It's so much more dramatic for a bride to be kidnapped on her wedding day than to consider the story as a possible hoax perpetrated for personal reasons.

So, from now on, expect Fox to crab-walk away from the fact that they hyped the story, rather than being actual news gatherers.

4. CNN is doing the same thing
They are all running these kinds of stories with increasing frequency because they are soooo much cheaper to cover than places like Iraq. I mean, if you can get the audience and not have to do any of that nasty reporting and investigation, but can just sit there and speculate, think how much better it is for the bottom line. Fah!

Further CNN is "turning on" their former victim just because they now look silly. Things like this happen in people's lives a lot--but formerly they were not exposed to the glare of money-grubbing.

10. to ascribe cost savings as their motive ignores the primary
reason for this crap - the need to keep the public distracted from the things that are changing the course of mankind, for the worse.

13. Oh no doubt they
have a political agenda--especially among the high muckety-mucks. But in my opinion they are such whores for profit that they would turn on their best friends for another buck.

14. Wagging The Dog
I can just see Dustin Hoffman, Dennis Leary and Bob DiNiro dictating the script to Ann Heche on the cellphone (BTW...the movie will be on Discovery/Times Channel tonight). Gotta figure a way outta this mess.

Yesterday, I caught a bit with one reporter interviewing another CNNServative reporter...this one is of Vietnamese origins and spun how great this country has been (she's a right wing shill on the air) and how she's doing this to help "her" people. How self serving.

I used to watch CNN 24/7. Now it's getting close to getting "Fauxed" off my cable.

7. I don't blame her
I bet her "Christian" family and friends pushed her into marrying someone she didn't really love.

Then the craven media got involved. The whole thing makes me want to puke.

11. funny they seize her computer
and less then 24 hours later her Joy ride is up!

I'm guessing she went to visit a little Cyber lover-friend or something. Why else go all the way to NM fabricate a story? If you need time to think, a simple I'm going to go visit a friend for the weekend would of worked yes?

Just speculation of course.
