Liberal theists look to their beliefs to justify their choices. Conservative theists look to their beliefs to decide what other people's choices should be.

Liberal theists see their beliefs as guidance for them alone. THey don't believe they can force their opinion on others. And further they recognise that this is a diverse society and that everyone has a say in the process.
