Would Carter have told us what Eddie thought? Reagan what Georgie? Bush what Jimmy? Clinton what Maddy thought?

I was very jarred by Bush calling his Secretary of State Condi instead of Sec of State Rice or Dr. Rice. Heck, he at least could have called her Condalisa instead of a nickname. I never cease to be amazed at the amount of informality which is tolerated from Bush, but which got scathingly criticized when it came from Clinton. Bush acts like Fratboy in chief instead of Commander in Chief.
