Edited on Wed Apr-27-05 11:08 AM by G_j
talk about poetic justice!
Is it that women are the more courageous ones in all of this?
These folks seem fearless.

Sibel Edmonds
Barbara Boxer
Cynthia McKinney
Lt. Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski
Medea Benjamin & Code Pink
Marla Ruzicka (RIP)

to name a few

5. Maybe women just have a little extra frisson of disgust over BushCo's
fake macho government. I know I'd be happy to take a swing at them if I had political power and/or a story to tell!

I'm proud of them. Especially Boxer and McKinney. Those two have fire! They're all great. They can see through Bush's fake machoness.

7. Unfortunately more women than men voted for the Stump in 04;
however, that is because they fell for his ability to keep America safe. What a joke! We must all do our part to get it out there that this administration let the 3000 die, etc., etc.

More men voted for Bush than women.

On edit... here's a link for you: http://www.now.org/issues/election/elections2004/041112womensvote.html

Between women and men overall, a seven point difference exists in their voting — 51 percent of women voted for John Kerry, while 44 percent of men favored the Democratic candidate. Conversely, men preferred George W. Bush by 55 to 48 percent over women.

23. Nice
Here in my town on the local news they had a poll on women and voting and Kerry won by a point or two. Who would you trust? A fake cowboy who thinks he's macho who let the worst terrorist attack happen in our history who was an AWOL wannabe solider who bankrupted at least two oil companies or a true war hero who is also an anti-war activist who has dealt with criminals?

12. There's is some speculation on the Astrology forum by a medium
that a highly placed woman in the Bush administration will bring him down before the end of the year. However, whom it will be, if this person is truly a medium, no one knows?

I hope she is right, even if she is guessing.

17. My money is on Mary Matalin.
She's been outside the WH for awhile, but she was there long enough to see the things that were going on. I'm wondering how long before she can't keep it quiet anymore and still look at herself in the mirror in the morning.

27. Yes, a hardcore Puke, but she's not
Carmela Soprano, going along with Tony for the big house and money, but turning a blind eye as to how he gets it so she can maintain some moral structure in her life.

I think this is what Mary Matalin has been doing up until now and it isn't going to change her politics, but turning a blind eye is probably becoming increasingly difficult for her. IMHO
