I think what I hate as much as anything else is that the Repubs have such a noble creature for a mascot and they can't even appreciate that they have nothing in common with an elephant anymore, except maybe a tendency to stampede and trample everything in their path and leave a major mess behind them.

... but why oh why must ANYONE distribute video in QuickTime only?

None of the browsers I use support it well, I don't like it, if you want to download it now you have to get iTunes also which I could care even less about. And I've always had trouble with QT under Windows, it just sucks as a program.

Almost all major sites publish their videos in QT and Windows Media formats. Is that too much to ask, I don't like Microsoft either but I don't want Apple to be the "official video format supplier to the Democratic party".
