Another poster has put forth the proposition that the New Right acts not from misguided intention or greed but mostly from very thinly veiled BLOOD LUST. I have decided that I agree with them.

A rebuttal post listed Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and Castro as LEFTISTS with blood lust. Poppycock.

They all had stratified hierarchies, secret police, fake trials, purges, and mass murder except Castro. They were Communist in NAME ONLY.

You could argue that Mao was sort of a revolutionary at one time, but after his "revolution" he reverted to form: FASCISM.

Castro is leftist, somewhat authoritarian, but indeed leftist, and to lump him with the other three is misinformed.

You know what? I think I agree with the first premise: The current crop of Neoconservatives and Theocrats is misnamed: they are all Neofascists, and like traditional fascists, if you don't believe, then you're for the chop.

If you don't thinks so, tell me: where are the Nelson Rockefellers, the Eisenhowers, the George Romneys, the Everett Dirksens? Even Barry Goldwater would vomit at what these people REALLY stand for, and that is: LOVE it or LEAVE it, preferably feet first.

Have you heard a SINGLE modern Republican CONDEMN the war? Clinic Bombings? Look at their rhetoric: "Shock and Awe", the "Nuclear Option." Did you know it was THEIR buzzword first?
