A Nova High School senior forced to turn a Bush bashing T-shirt inside-out after it was deemed offensive by fellow students won't have to repeat that exercise.

The Broward School Board has agreed to rewrite portions of its student code and give students greater free speech protections. The decision was made after the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida threatened to sue over the incident. (snip)

The board meets for a final reading on the proposed policy change at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26.
