Ambassador Wilson's warnings and others...They have apparently decided to blame the British!

7. If someone gives you false information
it is OK to claim that information as fact even if you know that it is a false because you gave it to them in the first place.

3. According to Condi.............
It was accurate information.......on grounds that the Brits used it and still stand by it. But it didn't quite meet the "disciplined standard" and quality of intelligence that they like to see in the presidential speeches.

Yeah, I guess the Niger letter was real. It was on paper and actually had typed words and a signature on it..... yeah, it was REAL.

6. Blair says he has other proof Saddam attempted to buy uranium
Tony Blair is claiming that independent of the forged Niger document he has independent proof provided by a "foreign" intelligence agency that Saddam was trying to purchase Uranium in Africa. He has, however, so far refused to say exactly what this proof consists of and which "foreign" intelligence agency provided the information. He insists he has to keep the information confidential to protect the sources. The British intelligence agencies have even refused to share this evidence with their US allies.

So the Bush gang is saying that even though the Niger document was fraudulent based on the claims of Tony Blair they were still justified in making the claim that Saddam tried to purchase Uranium in Niger, even though US intelligence agencies have never seen this proof because the Brits won't show it to them.
