26. I know, fun to goad the homophobes, but if we are true to our own liberal

values, the fact that a hooker is gay is not the problem. The problem is if prostitution is illegal and someone engages in it, be they the hooker or the customer (hookee?) they are criminals. Any attempt to criminalize the gay part of things is just bigotry.

FWIW, I also think prostitution should be legalized, but it is currently illegal in D.C. and most other parts of the US. We need to bust the chops of those law and order/family values/profoundly loud Xian types who are involved and also have the cajones to preach to us about morality! We need to keep driving home the fact that a HOOKER was in the white house over 190 times under bush* And we might phrase it just like that :evilgrin:
