This is the 21st Century is it not?
Howdy folks,

I need comfirmation that it is indeed the year 2005 and that we are in the 21st Century because lately it feels like the year 1205.

Am I mad?

1. Yes, but 2005 doesn't means that we have advanced
In fact from an evolutionary point of view, we have just been set back a millenium in one week :sarcasm:

2. Time Machine
When you have a Republican-run government it exists in a time machine. Sometimes it's 1205. Sometimes it's 1950.

3. One party rule just doesn't work - whether it's left or right
I'm sure there were plenty of complaints against the dems running everything after the depression. Neither party can be trusted. That's why the 2004 election was so important. Too important to nominate a northeastern liberal.

"Bring back divided government" should be the campaign theme in 2006.

5. Touche ...
Although, I truly believe "liberals/progressives" do far less damage to "us common" folk.

4. It is 2005
But it feels like 1205 or even 2005 BCE.

Either way, we're screwed.
