Papal Prophecies: Is this the last Pontiff?
I remember reading somewhere that a prophetic pope in the past (Middle Ages, I think) gave a prophecy on all the future pontiffs to come. IIRC, his final prophecy falls on this pope, implying that he would be the last pope for whatever reason. Has anyone else heard of this, and if so, can you direct me to info about it? I cannot remember the name of the pope or find anything about it on the prophecy sites I have lately perused, but I would like to review that particular prophecy considering current events.

Thanks in advance...

2. Prosthetic Pope
Maybe it was Nostradamus or Pogo. Maybe Jean Dixon? Does anyone actually believe in prophecy?

5. Without followers the Pope is nothing.
If this guy alienates enough followers there won't be any followers left to need another Pope. The office will become obsolete.
