I found a great way to support businesses owned/run by the GLBT community.

I happened to find a weekly paper here I've never seen before called the Dallas Voice. It's filled with articles of GLBT concern and I noticed the businesses that advertise in it seem to be either gay owned or supportive of gay rights (or they wouldn't advertise in this paper!).

I didn't even know this existed! What a great way to support these businesses!

Anyway, if you don't know of a similar publication in your city, look around. I found this at Whole Foods, but I've never seen it anywhere else.

Everyone is too busy griping about the new Pope to be worried about GLBTs.

Perhaps if we ask if the local Catholic church would like to have an advertizing spot in the paper encouraging GLBTs to repent in the spirit of "cooperation".... :)
