Ratzinger's rise foreshadowed in 1996 NDE.
http://www.iands.org/msgboards/messages/34/34.html

By Raul on Monday, April 4, 2005 - 06:19 pm:
When I woke up this morning and made breakfast, I turn on the television to watch the remaining hour of the “Today Show.” During a piece that was compose by Keith Miller and introduced by Matt Lauer, Mr. Miller was telling their viewers about the candidates that would or might be eligible to be Pope. In one section of his piece, I saw a name that I have not seen or heard in a very long time. That was, Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, Head of the Congregation of Faith. What had struck me odd was seeing his name as a possible candidate.

In 1996 when I experience my NDE, I had seen and was part several scenarios, scenes, images that would come true. So far too many have come true. So I am wondering “what if” what I saw in my NDE was not a coincidence.

The scene that pertains to Cardinal Ratzinger.

In this particular scene, Cardinal Ratzinger was making a stop at a parish in one of the boroughs in New York City. (I will not reveal the name of the parish or the borough since I have not the permission from the parish to use their name.) He stops at the parish and met with the Friars. Then the scene change.

In this scene, he was driven to where I was living. He made his way to my apartment where I greeted him and showed him to a chair. I told him to excuse me since I did not have anything to drink except water and Malta (malt beverage.) I remember not only sharing with him some Malta, but I was in my recliner as if this Cardinal being in my apartment was too much for me. I remember calling him “Your Eminence.” Then the scene change again.

This time we were in a garden. The garden was not huge but large enough to contain numerous species of plants that were flowering. There was a fence fill with a hibiscus like bush that ran down the property. Not only that, there were sections in the garden with low growing plants. While we were walking in the garden and talking, a Friar from the local parish came towards us. Apparently, he was angry that he broke his vows of obedience in front of his Eminence. Cardinal Ratzinger warns him to remember his vows, but the friar did not listen. Later that friar was reprimanded for being disobedient not only to a superior but to his vows as well. Then the scene change again.

This time the scene changes to where the Friar was after his death. He was alone. Not surrounded by the consuming fire or His Light, but in a place where light does not penetrate. All alone. Completely aware and conscious of what he had done. No one to share his pain. Then the scene change again.

This time I was at the parish, where Cardinal Ratzinger was. The Friars were scare of me. I remember walking down a corridor. Every time a friar saw me, he would make way and try not confronting me. Not because I knew the Cardinal because I had a relationship with God.

On a personal note.
Ever since the death of the Pope on Saturday the 2nd of April, my thoughts and prayer were focus on him. For some unknown reason, Sunday the 3rd of April found me trying to figure out why my six sense was so consume on a prophecy that I have only heard of back in the early 80’s. The Malachi Prophecy. Even then, I did not pay attention to what the prophecy had to say. When people spoke about it, I treated such talks as if it was either white noise or rambling from people who did not have anything better to do than just speculate.

Ever since I have experience this phenomenon in 1996 things has occurred to be that simply baffle me or should I say “freaks me out.” Yet now with the death of Pope John Paul ll, I cannot help to wonder if what I experienced then has a great purpose now.

Part of me wishes that next Pope comes from the Latin American countries, like the Cardinal from Mexico. Yet this NDE, this phenomenon that I experience, has revealed too many things that even now I am trying to understand and not freak out. If Cardinal Ratzinger is nominated and accepts the position of Pope, you will find me somewhere between the floor and under the cover for a while. I know that upon looking at his name and seeing his face, all those memories for that particular scene came cascading like a waterfall. In all honesty, Cardinal Ratzinger may be is just what the Church needs with all the problems it has in the USA and in Europe, i.e. pedophiles and shortage in priests.

Bona Pace,
Raul.

Now this excerpt was written just 2 days after the death of Pope John Paul II, so it is not unreasonable that people would have heard of Ratzinger by then. However, I'm giving Raul the benefit of the doubt in that he actually encountered Ratzinger and his foreboding power way back in 1996 during his NDE. Very intriguing!

3. Seriously, I'd never heard the abbreviation before
and before I got to "experience my NDE", and it became clear it was a dream, I really did expect something like a diplomat's briefing.

4. No problem
Interesting post, though. I've checked out this Raul guy. Even though he's a devout Catholic, he seems to have a rational and articulate side to him and does not seem prone to fanciful hysterics compared to some others (e.g., those caught up in the end-times hype).
