Springer discussing discontinued terrorism report.
Condi ordered it stopped because it shows a 400% (my estimate from Springer's comments) increase in terrorist activity in 2004.

So George and his incompetent henchmen are not helping reduce terrorism, and now the annual report that proves it will be terminated.

3. I made a comment about this on CSPAN today.
the host later said that the report has not been discontinued it just won't be published any longer and that congress would still be getting it.

7. Thus keeping the American public
uninformed yet again. Makes me wonder what else we're not being told.

4. well, it's only about a 357% increase
I think it went from 175 in 2003 to 625 in 2004.

The bad thing is that the 175 in 2003 was the previous all-time record!!! (that report was originally issued with several weeks of missing data that seemed to show a decrease in terrorism that Bush & the media lauded. It was later re-released quietly to show that terror in 2003 was at an all-time high)

And, remember folks, these reports did not include Iraq.

6. See post by NewJeffCT. I was half listening while working, plus
I rounded to the nearest one hundred percent.

If there was any equivocating it was mostly about *me*.

It seems that the 2003/2004 terrorism numbers Springer quoted were correct.

If they weren't they would be telling it from the roof toops. These people are terrorist's themselves. I wanted to bang my head into the wall with the one guy who said he was a military guy and he disagreed that we weren't less safe. :wtf: (He claimed he was in Iraq)
