personally, when I get robbed at gunpoint in my own home, I tend to remain sensible, intellectually coherent and generally cool as a cucumber. I ususally engage the intruder in discussions about current affairs, the football, philosophy, and the like.

Also, when these occasions are reported in the NEw York Post, the entire story is related almost as if the reporter had been there, verbatim, accurate, contextualised accounts of the event that could stand up in a court of law.
