That is what I would think would make the biggest statement. People like that bunch are responsible for making me see things that way. Anything I can think of to do that is opposite of what they would do guarantees I won't have to spend eternity with them. If you think about it, it's the best philosophy to have. If that bunch makes it to a place called Heaven, it honestly couldn't be called Heaven any more. And if they end up in Hell, by being the opposite of them, it means I will go to Heaven. It's a win-win situation at least after death/for eternity, if that exists...

I had no idea these freaks were coming here. I saw an article about Phelps in the Santa Fe paper a couple weeks back but I don't recall it saying anything about an imminent invasion. Though I am sure the Santa Fe LGBT people are well prepared for them, I am less sure about Albuquerque...have you notified them? The student LGBT groups are really active (fag-infested even, lol), but i'll fire off an e-mail to make sure they know, if you haven't already.

FACE OF GOD". I haven't read the book but perhaps if you are able to get a copy of it...it might give you some good solid counter arguments to the unchristian-ungodly group who call themselves "godhatesfags".

You may want to contact him. I am sure he will answer. This is what he had written to me after i wrote and said that the current church leaders with their refusing of communion to kerry and in so many other instances were making it hard for me to keep, not my faith, but my respect for the church.

I would carry a sight that reads GOD HATES PHELPS, but I dont presume to know what the almight hates and doesnt hate, but I can atleast speak for myself when I say that I hate that fucker and all of his ilk.

I've seen pictures of those tards carrying there stupid signs and dragging the American flag around and stepping on it.

I'm generally a proponent of freedom of speech, however when I see pictures of those guys I definately feel like expressing myself by giving them a beating that I believe they justly deserve.

We were protesting the bishops conference in Dallas basically telling them to quit protecting pedophiles. Behind a barrier the Phelps people were protesting them too. Every time they said "sodomite", we'd yell "SODOMITE DANCE!", drop our signs and start doing a goofy dance. When they yelled "Necrophiliac", we'd tap one on the shoulder and ask,"What do you have against Necco Wafers?"

We just messed with them until they finally left.

The monthly quota for hate and anger is already being filled by the Phelps posse. Those guys just feed on hatred. They LIKE it when people yell at them. If they didn't, they wouldn't act like such obnoxious assholes all the time. So don't give them what they want.

An upbeat and jovial counterprotest would be such a contrast to their negativity that it would just make them look even more insane to passersby. For example, about a decade ago the Phelps Crew was protesting the performance of the Nutcracker in Topeka. (Tchaikovsky was gay.) So a small group got together and we sang Christmas carols to them. It was fun, it showed the public that there is active opposition to those extremists, and it probably irritated them to no end.
