7. I watched, Melodybe. It all came down

to Oprah hawking an interview of Stewart in her magazine. No, the clip from Crossfire wasn't shown. Oprah had visited Stewart and family at his home and gushed about that, John's wife loves Oprah, yadda yadda. They showed clips from The Daily Show including poking fun at Oprah on one of them. Oprah also gushed about how intelligent John is and how great his show is. Pretty much a lot of fluff, so you didn't miss much other than seeing John being John, with all his delightful facial expressions to boot.

6. I Don't Know

sorry, I was in the other room and the last I saw was Stewart running to do some promo thing Oprah is doing.. Scream....Jon comes back...Scream....then the next guest was on - another celebrity (a woman)...Scream.

The screaming was a huge turnoff and had I not been upstairs taking a bath towards the end, I would have turned it off.

5. Had it on in the background

I wasn't paying close attention but recall that they played clips from "The Daily Show" to familiarize the audience with who/what Jon's all about. Oprah went on about Jon being a Real Deal, Down-to-Earth Normal guy without pretensions I was waiting for it but there wasn't any mention/clip from his Crossfire appearance or commentary on corporate news. It was a "safe" interview designed to be light-hearted and non-controversial.
