3. Where this option works...
is in locations where people vote for ONE office at at time, and consequently there is only ONE set of ballots to count. Consider last year: in New York, we had to vote for President, Senate, House, State, Senate, State Assembly, and assorted judgeships. Add to that States like California with 50-odd separate ballot initiatives, and you have avery unwieldy system for paper ballot counting. Better to go with opitcal scanning ballots: there's an ability to quickly count multiple races, but you have a paper record if needed.

4. Wrong- sorry to disagree buit that is incorrect. Progressive countries
have used this method successfully for years without any widespread fraWd. Switzerland has a model election law procedure using paper and hand counts. We used this also until the advent of technology don't forget.

Many states have laws which wouldn't allow for a check on the validity of an election unless the vote disparity was less than 1% so there would be NO RECOURSE as we well know from 04.

Paper ballots and hand counts IS the most secure means to hold an election. The widespread technological fraWd of 04 could not have taken place with paper and hand.
