Bush and his debates
There is no way America voted for Bush after seeing this debate, and how the fu*k could cnn call it a draw. he has got a illness if you compare it to ten years ago.

1. I can't figure it out either.
He looked like a total boob in all three. I've judged high school debates and seen better performances from the LOSING team!

2. And furthermore, what the hell was that head-bob,
pigeon-neck movement that he kept doing? Maybe it was just too much starch in the shirt collar, but it drove me nuts.

Or is that a symptom of something (I don't know, Parkinson's or similar) as well?

3. I thought he lost all the debates ( mainly because he
doesn't have the know how with debates either) and what was that box on his back? Was he wired or bugged?

8. Really quite something
It really is quite something. I remember the Daily show also had a special where they were comparing Bush from 2000 to 2004 and even that was a big change and showing how he flipflopped and everything. Only thing I'd argue with the video is how they said Bush has good days and bad days. Yeah, his good days are when he has a speech memorized and/or infront of him and handpicked people in his audience.

7. Funny story...
Where I live there is a kind of club for expats, and they rent videos there. The other day I was in there with my kids, and saw they had available homemade videos of the three debates. One child was reading the title, saw "Bush", and was asking what a "debate" was. I told him, and then said "I guess they have them here in case I want to be depressed about how this idiot could still have been elected." Turned around, and realized a senior embassy official I know well had come in and was right behind me when I said it. To add to the "oops" my little ones then proceeded to make all sorts of comments (obviously having gotten them from me at their age!) about Bush being a bad man, and stupid, and hurting people because he lies. You know how kids tend to say "Right Mom? Right Dad?" And since they know you agree, what can you say, but "yeah" - even though, you know, it's not all that diplomatic!! Sigh....
