There will be a new Pope within 24 hours;do you honestly think
those old men ,accustomed to being waited upon, will "camp out" longer than that?

They think they are royalty. Sharing a room with 115 prima donnas would drive me over the edge, never mind the prima donnas.

1. I think they changed that a little.
They each have their own room, but have communal bathrooms. I think I saw that on TV.

2. Nah, the last pope built a nice big palais for them.
I hope they take a week or so and make good use of the digs.

4. Well, after three days and no luck,
they get a day off to "pray and reflect."

I hope they hurry the hell up and pick someone, though. IMO, they should have started conclave as soon as the cardinals arrived.

5. I think they picked one in hour one
Now they are all relaxing, smoking cigars, ordering room service on the Vatican's tab and wondering if they can milk this thing for a couple more days. They may be cardinals, but they're also a bunch of guys. ;)

18. Don't they know who they want?
It's my understanding that they have to have a 2/3 majority, but what changes between vote 1 and vote 2, etc.? Do they discuss it, do pros/cons...? I am unaware.
