POW/MIA
Just about everyone has seen the POW/MIA flags and/or have heard the stories about POWs and MIAs in Vietnam. Does anyone know if these stories are true. I think someone at DU said these stories that POWs were left in Vietnam were not true. So what is the story about POWs and MIAs in Vietnam. I know there were POWs and MIAs in Vietnam during the war, so those stories are true. Are the stories that the United States left and/or knowingly left POWs in Vietnam true. Also, does anyone who or what group started the POW/MIA flags.
