The Bushes at the Pope funeral
The DU home page has a photo of them but one of the weeklies - Newsweek or Time - has them smooching. Right there during service? Could not wait to get to their room?

In the Mag, not online. Thought it was really inappropriate. I'm looking as I type.

On edit: found this at Der Spiegel, almost as rude:

Is that Jacky Kennedy next to him?

10. I would have thought
Actually meeting the pope would have been greater (& I'm an atheist) but who knows how Dumbyah's mind works.

12. I don't know when this kiss took place (relative to what was going on)
Edited on Sat Apr-16-05 07:31 PM by Husb2Sparkly
but there is a place in (at least the American) Roman Catholic Mass where people offer each other a sign of peace. It is very common for married couples, parents and children, brothers and sisters, etc., to embrace and kiss.

I have no idea whatever if that was the case with Preznit Precious and Lump-in-the-Bed, but it may have been.
