Sci-Fi Channel appropriately picks up Revelations
http://www.scifi.com/onair/

appears someone has a good sense of humor, picking up and replaying NBC's ode to Fundies. On NBC, after the DaVinci Code Dateline fiasco this was an offensive piece of pander.

But on the Scifi Channel, home of terrible made for TV scifi crapola...I'd say I can't think of a more perfect end to my work week.

All things in their proper place :D

1. Aw c'mon. I love the SciFi channel!
and Revelations is getting some pretty good reviews.

We don't have to believe the stuff to enjoy it!

12. The SciFi Channel
is my favorite channel and I think it is most appropriate that it is showing "Revelations." Just where it belongs - in the science fiction category.

2. ROFL,
Apart from "Sliders", I've yet to see anything sci-fi airs that's good. And what they'd prefer to air compared to what they could air, they're really keeping people from a lot of much better stuff.

5. And Sliders wasn't made by/for the Sci Fi channel
I've enjoyed a number of syndicated programs on the scifi channel. But if we're being honest, 90% of their MADE FOR SCIFI movies are beyond terrible. Pick the giant lame mutated giant snake or whatever...insert the worst actors imaginable...and poof you have a Made for Scifi exclusive.

And let's not even get into the mistreatment and abuse they did to Earthsea and Riverworld...

I think Revelations is going to fit right in.

4. Sci Fi is an NBC property
Obviously Revelations is a clunker. Look how many times and channels it's playing over a 7 day period.

9. Jeeze! there must be subliminal messages they want to ensure the masses
get! They gonna air it on PBS in the Sesame Street slot too?

I had this flash of insight this morning when I woke up. All this culture of life, save marriage, pharmacist are being persecuted, let the white Xian terrorist bomber have his say shit that is going on: The junta and neocon toadies are trying to incite the fundy base to riot nationally so they have to declare martial law.

Things are going bad for the boys in power of late. The liberal natives are restless and their gentle Congress Persons are starting to hear the beating of the drums

10. Well, NBC group is certainly sharing the wealth -- but what about
MSNBC and USA? tsk tsk -- it would seem that they've failed on their attempt to totally overexpose this particular piece of speculative fiction, based on another yet another work of specualative fiction.

6. I like SciFi channel but Revelations is a bad joke
I made it until about minute 21 and then popped the 21 Jump Street DVD into the machine.

Revelations HAS to be the poorest written, lamest acted, most UNspecial effect laden piece of crap that I have ever seen on tv, including the giant snake garbage that someone else mentioned as a made-for-scifi special movie.

How much money did they spend on Revelations, and how much on the ad hype? Every single penny tossed down a craphole.

What a hoot. If I was an evangelical I'd think it was a targeted effort to make all my beleifs look like insanity.

Hey! Maybe it was!

Wouldn't that be a punch below the Bible Belt?

7. I caught Revelations last night on CNBC
I half way watched it while playing a computer game. I didn't think it was bad, but wasn't great either.

I think SciFi picking it up is just, well, funny.

I hope they aren't taking over the Sci-Fi channel. This and the Comedy channel are my last two refuges of sanity. One I know is feeding me fairy tales and fantasy fiction, the other makes me laugh at what is happening.
