I live in San Diego, so I see ALOT of military around here. It would be too easy to just lock down the streets. A simple raising of the terror alert, and we are sure to stay home without questioning.

4. I expect the markets to continue dropping

until a crisis point is reached and panic sets in. The markets will be closed. People will rush the banks and Bush will declare Martial Law. The internet will be shut down, rumors of disease will fly. People will be shot in the streets. Fear will prevail and everyone will do as directed by FOX News.

10. run on the dollars

NPR had a story about the dollar vs the euro...

one talking-head stated he estimated a 30% chance that there would be a run on the dollar within the next 3-4 years and it would cause serious international economic problems

China and Japan hold alot of treasury bonds -- and they are losing money on those bonds as the dollar drops.
