All Democrats who voted "Yea" for the bankruptcy bill are traitors
They are traitors to the Democratic Party and its founding principles.

This bill was of the rich, by the rich and for the rich. It is indefensible. Its obvious that we have 73 Democratic Congressmen and women who have no interest in the average man and his problems.

Luckily, I will have one of them not more than 8 feet in front of me when I give a speech this coming Monday evening. I WILL call him out in front of 500 people gathered for the annual $100 per plate Gala. It could get interesting. Stay tuned.

Guy

4. Keeping the money you earn is defensible.
For the goverment to confiscate it is indefensible.
Now, should a person have millions and leave all to his children and none to charity would also be indefensible.
Making it illegal is not freedom.
That's socialism.
Not what happens in a democratic society.

11. Not paying YOUR SHARE is indefensible.
The more a person enriches himself off of the infrastructure and Democratic Social System in America, the more he owes to the country and the society that enriches him!

The Estate Tax and the Progressive Income Tax are the MOST Democratic, American, and JUST Tax this country has ever implemented.

Libertarians and Conservatives are just rationalizing their greed. No one in America pulls themselves up by their bootstraps or earns ALL their money through their OWN hard work. All are dependent on The System....the RICH more than the rest!. They are obligated to pay their fair share for the privilege of Working the System!

6. Will you please get some video....
..or play the audio on your show?

When the mainstream Democrats learn the real truth about these Traitors to the Cause, then maybe we can vote in some REAL Democrats and run these slimey bastards out of town on a rail!

These sell outs will run from the Light of Truth.

7. Welcome to the club, Guy
You will get no argument here.

In the past, some here on DU have argued that the DINO serves a useful purpose, in that he/she keeps a seat away from the Repubs. Lately, that argument has become scarce around here, as we see scum like Lieberman et al. give away our party for kisses and pats on the back, then running to Franken and Ed Schultz for a "come to Jesus" meeting to explain themselves.

Their false sense of piety disgusts me - let 'em have it on Monday.

28. I believe you are correct, but IIRC he did vote to end cloture...
Edited on Thu Apr-14-05 05:31 PM by bvar22
...which allowed this bill to get out of committee. He was on Franken today attempting to rationalize his cloture vote.

If the info on the cloture vote is incorrect, someone please correct it.

The above picture is from an add where he endorses Bolton for the UN.

I'm still so pissed off about this ad that I'm posting it in places where it doesn't really belong.

12. kick, absolutely
this vote alone says who is a member of the corporate party
and who is not.

Of course our *democratic* representative, Hooley is a traitor
as reported by this vote.

Sounds like a good idea to show up to local public meetings
and call them out.

20. I hung up on a Democratic fund-raiser today...
The call was to raise funds for Democrats in Congress. I told him that when the Democrats in Congress grew a spine, I'd start donating again. It took a long time, but I've finally had it.
