Bill Bradley to host show on Sirius
Sirius Satellite Radio, the service that is set to bring shock jock Howard Stern to subscribers, has announced a deal with one of the least shocking hosts, Bill Bradley, the former basketball start and senator known for his reserved manner.

Bradley is to host a show called "American Voices," starting in May. It'll be a weekly talk show that will feature varied stories, personalities and opinions from a broad cross section, according to a statement Wednesday from Sirius (Research).

A statement from Bradley said the show will be nonpartisan.

"'American Voices' will focus on the common humanity of our citizens and will recognize those extraordinary individuals who make a difference in their communities," said a statement from Bradley. CNN

2. I love Bill Bradley but...
he is a bit on the boring side. He's an extremely intelligent man but I'm not sure he will be able to do radio. I do wish him the best

4. A bit OT, but why is it that liberals constantly have to...
... apologize in advance, by saying "oh, it won't be partisan" or "no, no, it's not going to be a liberal show/station"?

Meanwhile, we've got right-wing lunatics proudly infesting the airwaves up and down the band, gleefully spewing the most vile hatred their perverted little minds can dream up.

:wtf:

5. don't you know...
that liberal is a dirty word, and therefore it shouldn't be said unless you want to corrupt the children with your potty mouth :sarcasm:

6. God bless Bradley, but he is not exactly a personality machine
His books are great and he can occasionally give a good speech. Still, I can't imagine a more boring radio host.
