Quantico Search Reveals NO Guckert USMC Records
by ePluribus Media
Thu Apr 14th, 2005 at 05:03:41 PDT

ePluribus Media
James Dale Guckert, aka "Jeff Gannon," never served in the United States Marine Corps, according to the Personnel Management Support Branch located at Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ).

ePluribus Media volunteer researcher RenaRF visited the Virginia base March 30, 2005, and requested a hand search of all records, as recommended by Marine Corps lead archive technician Armando Nunez after he failed to find files on Guckert in response to a Freedom of Information Act request submitted last month and documented in a previous diary.

The hand search was conducted by Quantico staff member Delores Smith, who accessed computerized records from 1995-2005 and an additional 15 years' worth of archived microfiche files dating back to 1980, the year Guckert graduated from college. (He graduated from high school in 1975.)

The searches at Quantico were conducted by Social Security number, as well as by birth date and last name, with no hits on any combination of the criteria in either the computerized or microfiche records.

At the completion of the search, Smith stated that Guckert had never served in the United States Marine Corps.

Guckert's Claims of Military Service

I enlisted in the military more as a challenge to myself than anything, but got so much more than I ever expected. I learned the importance of self-discipline and self-reliance.

In many circles, I have become known as "the conservative guy". Some people don't even remember my name because I am an average type guy. I've been a preppie, a yuppie, blue-collar, green-collar and white-collar. I've served in the military ....
And from military.com via Philly Online (registration required for military.com):
James D Guckert
Rank: E-4 Corporal
Service: Marine Corps
Status: Inactive Res/Guard (not drilling)

And then there's the marketing of "Bulldog," aka "Jeff," aka James D. Guckert, on an escort site turned up by Americablog in February:

When asked what USMCPT meant, Paul said he asked Jeff that very question. The answer: United States Marine Corps, Part Time. Paul recalls Jeff telling him he was still in the Marines, but only part time.
Ex-USMC Jock: Available for hourly, overnight, weekend or longer travel - OUT ONLY!

If Guckert now wishes to change his "patriotic" claim of Marine Corps service to ... say ... the Navy Seals, ePluribus Media would be willing to follow-up on that as well.

It's amazing what you can accomplish with more than 800 volunteer investigators.

45. I'm smiling...
Had I only known the power when I was a Catholic schoolgirl!

My daughter-in-law was telling us at a gathering about trying to speed up the relationship. She loved my son and he was taking it too slow, seeing her as a friend. She found the perfect Halloween costume and figured if this didn't do it nothing would.
She knew it worked when his jaw dropped and he just stared for a while on seeing her in it.

Many potential costumes flashed through my mind, but not the one it was. A Catholic schoolgirl. All the men got it right away.

But, hey, she fooled him too. She is not even Catholic. More lies!

They seem to have equally specious military careers.

That could explain why neither "man" can get a grip on "his" "records."

lying and saying he was in vietnam , when he wasn't..

lying about service is a very foolish thing to do, it is so easy to prove if someone was or wasn't , with a little leg work and a social security number!

everything about this gannon/guckert is a lie..
Congresswoman slaughter (d-ny) said the other day his college records don't square with his statements either!

if you look at my other post please take the tiem to listen to rusty nelsons interview from a couple days ago...something is going to blow open big time with this sometime soon!!

55. The Hierarchy of Scum
There is a definite Lowlife Hierarchy at work here.

Falsely claiming to be a Soldier, Sailor or Airman is very bad but it is less bad than...

Falsely claiming to be a Marine, which is less bad than...

Falsely claiming to be in the infantry, which is less bad than...

Falsely claiming to be a special operator (SEAL, Marine Force Recon, Army Ranger, Army Special Forces, Army DELTA), which is less bad than...

Falsely claiming to hold an award for gallantry in combat, which is less bad than...

Falsely claiming to be a POW, which is less bad than...

Falsely claiming to hold the Medal of Honor. The last is so bad it's a federal offense just to falsely claim that you hold the MoH.

63. If they're not pissed about having a deserter as Commander in Thief,
this will be small potatoes.
If W HAD served, there would be military men in DROVES coming out of the woodwork to 'prove' he was where he was supposed to be; they haven't, he wasn't, and because CBS failed to check facts, the real story about Chimpy's desertion gets buried.
The 'Pukes don't care. They would if they really were about honor and integrity and personal responsibility and all that shit they like to talk about...but they're hollow on all of it. Empty words to go with empty heads, empty hearts and big blank empty stinking rancid places where souls ought to be.

74. Yep
True. I remember this last election the group "Texans for Truth" had out a bid that if you can prove that Bush was in the guard with you and he was there you would recieve $10,000. A few people tried to but they were false claims. Notice how Bush has tried to get away from talking about it. He just says the same old song and dance. How people have tried to prove he was AWOL and haven't yet etc. Never mind how the records have blobs over names and/or words and have been destroyed.

and you watch when this all blows open ..the bombs will start flying into iran..because the american people are so dang dumbed down...

what will it take? when will real americans accept responsibility for their own welfare.??

when will americans finally say..thats enough of the lies?

so we cross ourselves and genuflect , and that makes the lies ok??

so we put religous stuff on network tv and now we are holy??

the religous right has taken our country further and further into a murderous bloodbath daily , and yet they think they are holy??

when will you and i say that's enough..when will we go to rotary clubs and our neighboorhoods and say thats enough..and start educating people..

all we need to do is take a piece of paper for one day and write down all the lies, take it to your neighborhood and ask people..is this really ok with you??
take it to your church and ask the same questions..is it ok with you??

but it is many of our own dems who do not want to believe!!

i was at a dem meeting yesterday and got into a huge word war with another dem..who said everything i was saying about the * lies was just not true ..because msm didnt tell her so!!

so i have spent last night compling so much stuff..but going to send in small batches , because this dem lady needs a wake up call!!

we can all do this..we all know too much to just keep reguritating it to each other..we must take this out to the people..

just my 2 cents worth!

that should have raised a red flag right there. After boot camp, infantry training, MOS school, then tours of duty...there should be hundreds of other Marines who remember your name. Even if you're "an average type guy".
Like Bush, where are the photos? The letters? The "band of brothers"? Do you know how often soldiers take pictures of each other? Even before digital cameras....my father has at least 50 photos of himself with friends during WWII.
Yet Bush and Guckert/Gannon have zip...other than that one well-publicized photo of Dubya by his jet...the one Papa had taken so he could send to all the newspapers with the puff piece on his son.

What fakes these people are.

But he distinctly "remembered" Bush. Though Bush was still in Texas.

It's pretty obvious to me that he's lying about his military service. It seems that most military folks love to talk about their service, their friends and their unit. He's never said a word about it. Nothing about this guy is "as it seems", so far it appears that his entire life is one big lie. I watched the panel on CSPAN the other day, and he simply could not tell the truth.

A Marine is a Marine 24x7 for life.

I'm a Navy vet (or Squid, which is a lower form of Marine life...just ask any Marine) and IMHO anyone found impersonating a veteran should be immediately enlisted, gay or not.

THAT'S called supporting the troops, not a fucking yellow magnet making some Chinese magnet manufacturer rich.

61. There is at least one other half-nekkid pornster
out there impersonating a Marine.
I was in the middle of busting him down,
when someone here,
claiming to be a genuine Marine,
rescued that skanky ass.

The nekkid man is linked to JeffJames "recruiter" Bruce Walker.

His ads emphasized that he was ONLY a top. Entrapment of closeted homosexuals with subsequent blackmail is a long-used ploy in espionage. I've assumed he's an agent from the first.

64. JeffJames was positively reviewed on an escort site.
That is how we all got to know his, um, attributes.

The way I understand it, that site was run by a person who passed away on March 2, 2005. His name was Hooboy and his website functioned as a "Better Business Bureau" for gay male escorts.
You were nobody until you had been reviewed on male4malescorts.
Apparently Hooboy would contact the reviewer and verify the details and so forth. In other words, it was not all that easy to fake a review WITHOUT a willing accomplice.

JeffJames has now managed to convince 21 Republican Congressmen to come between him and a thorough probing.

Why did they suppress evidence that would show who helped a gay prostitute evade Secret Service background checks and gain compromising access to the President of the United States? Why are these 21 Republicans so desperate to keep "Bulldog's" secrets?
http://www.agitprops.org/gannon.html

Therefore JeffJames should not have had much difficulty in persuading someone somewhere to attest to his prowess.
Who knows what is really going on?

Why is JeffJames being protected as carefully as Noelle Bush?
And WHO is his daddy?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - this guy is not worth the attention, positive or negative, that he is receiving. He is thriving on it, and sooner or later he will capitalize on it. Just let him rot in obscurity

70. Giving someone preferential treatment...
Edited on Fri Apr-15-05 02:19 PM by youspeakmylanguage
..because they're a partisan hack isn't a conspiracy - that's how Washington works. They kept giving him day passes because he wrote what they wanted him to write and he was willing to do it for free. They didn't give him a hard pass and he apparently never asked for one, so they had no reason to dig deeper in his past than they did.

I could easily see someone whispering in Chimpy's ear, "Call on the guy that looks like a giant penis. He's a friendly! We've been letting him sit in for months."

JimmyJeff appears to be exactly what he is - a stooge and a moron basking in his quasi-celebrity and seeking a way to exploit it.

79. WRONG --
You can't get within 10 feet of the pres without first being properly vetted by the SS & FBI - that he wasn't properly vetted, that his background was not throughly investigated and that he was given that ever so innocent "preferential" treatment as you mischaracterize it, is in and of itself a conspiracy and scandal.

Mata Hara has nothing on this guy. You and others may want to characterize him as a stooge, but in doing so, you give a "pass" to the administration that is up to its ass in scandals. I will not be so kind and forgiving. He is not the stooge that you try to make him out to be and neither are many in the government and on this forum. Peddle your wares elsewhere, I am not buying.

...precisely BECAUSE the administration is "up to it's ass in scandals." If billions are being wasted in Iraq and war criminals are being rewarded with cushy positions within our government, we need to put the pressure on people over that, not whether or not a male whore was in the white house briefing room. I don't CARE about Guckert - I care about my rights, my civil liberties, and my tax dollars.

ivory tower of Xian morals and values, if said male whore proves that they have stooped so low as to hire their boy toy as a "journalist" because they don't believe they can be touched, if said male escort proves that they think they are above the laws of man and God, then more power to the boy toy. You don't care about your rights, if you did, you would be screaming at the top of your lungs about the hypocrites in office who don't practice what they preach. They speak of morals and values and democracy at the same time they wage illegal and immoral wars in an attempt to colonize and christianize another land and another people; at the same time they restrict my rights and pursue "political opponents" for various mock crimes;at the same time they waste my tax dollars pursuing and persecuting their political foes in an effort to maintain control; at the same time they waste my tax dollars paying the press to promote their twisted, distorted and evil agendas; at the same time they waste my tax dollars paying off their political cronies; at the same time they close their eyes to their own crimes.

The waste of time is not calling them on every crime they commit; the waste of time is letting them and their deceptive ways have a pass because it seems innocent or insignificant. Nothing is innocent when it is based upon lies, crimes, and a prevision of my nation and an abuse of her people and her laws. NOTHING!!

87. Take a deep breath, then count to 10...
I'm angry about the same things you are angry about, but I'm a realist. If we are going to win back any amount of significant power in our government, we need to stay focused on the issues that matter.

The average voter does not care about Guckert - most of them probably have no idea who he is. But they will care when a medical emergency cripples them financially and they have less power fighting off the collection agencies. They will care when they discover how tight a stranglehold China has on the US Economy. They will care when a gallon of gas reaches 3 dollars a gallon.

If you want to rant and rave over Guckert, please do so. He loves the attention. But the rest of us need to focus our energy on the issues that matter.

It has been said that to bring these bastards down we have to have a video tape of the weed doing a goat or a child in the oval office. Well, maybe gannon is just that source.

Or did you forget about monica and the cigar and how that was investigated and how that negatively impacted our party?

92. Have you ever tried to kill mildew and scum?
Edited on Fri Apr-15-05 05:56 PM by merh
To properly clean it you have to use strong detergents or bleach and you have to find the source and clean from the source out. Merely painting over it or removing the top layer will not do the trick, it will just keep coming back. You have to get down and dirty to properly clean the scum, you have to use elbow grease and all sorts of harsh tactics to destroy the mildew and scum, just like the scum that is killing our nation.

That is what this administration and the corrupt BFEE is, the scum of our society whose evil deeds and practices have gone on for years, unchecked and unfettered. The evil of the '80's was white washed over and removed from sight, but not destroyed at the source, so that evil has spread and has sullied my beloved nation and all she stands for. Thousands have died at the hands of the evil bastards and because of their lies and immoral ways, yet they stand as the party of values and morals.

Like a weed in a garden, chopping off that which is exposed to the human eye will not destroy the weed, the weed will continue to live and it will come back, destroying the beautiful garden and all the healthy living plants. The weed has to be destroyed at the base, at its root. That is why weed is so appropriate for the clown-n-chief and his family. They are weeds and to just take swipes at them, to just trim away their outer evil is not enough, we have to get down on our hands and knees and get dirty and yes, get down on their level if we have to, to adequately eradicate their evil.

In Poppy's times scandals were uncovered and were reported and then overlooked or white washed over. The evil that was his admin was not destroyed, it was covered over and has strengthened behind the weak efforts to combat them. The BFEE is evil and we have to sink to their level to get to the roots and to find the source to finally put an end to their corruption, lies and hate.
