1. It's not just you
I've been feeling that way for quite some time now.

Now, if I can only convince my husband that it's just me. LOL

2. Not Just You
Did you happen to catch "Revelations" last night? It is apparently a six-part series intent on scaring people into religion by selling them on the fact that the "end-times" are coming.

See, that's what upsets me about having a (pretend) religious person in office, and religion in general. They are working on the assumption that we're all going to kill ourselves eventually anyway, so why not blow up anything that's profitable to the rich in America.

That aside, it was an interesting program, as I like the good sci-fi show, but it didn't scare me into believing in something I don't know about. Just preceding it, there was a dateline (or something, I don't usually watch the packaged magazine shows) on the book, The DaVinci Code. ( I know I probably misspelled that, sorry).

3. Not just you
It's obnoxiously vocal and it's everywhere.

You know how the press will all jump on some subject and hammer it in with talking points to create the illusion that it's the "hot" topic of the day and "everyone is talking about it" ....just as if they were advertisement writers trying to sell a product and make it seem like the "must have" item of the day....

that's exactly what the press and others are doing with religion...treating it like everyone just has to have it...they must have it...
and if you don't have it...well, something must be wrong with you...cause it's just so hot!hot!hot!

4. religion and health
Lazy day here, flipping thru channels, came across the 700 Club reporting on prayer slowing the effects of alzheimer's. Cited a study by Healthday (?). Guess I should have paid more attention. (or not.)

also note
Robertson sez Minutemen = Patriotic Americans
Robertson pushing free bumper stickers: Marriage = one man + one woman
Founder of Curves 5,000 franchises made possible by finding Jesus and reading a book by Robertson blessed by God for obedience

So, what did you and the reporter discuss?
