Another despicable RW email... anyone else get this yet?

I'm very selective about who gets my email address and luckily I don't get RW crap. However, today I received an email from the fricken woman I buy facial products from. This email is so repulsive. Has anyone else received this?

STAND UP FOR THE MARINES!!!!!

This is about the U.S. Marine in Iraq who shot and killed an enemy combatant who was pretending to be dead but in reality was alive. If you have any feelings for this Marine who was doing his job then please read and help take action for this American Hero. I'm asking all who receive this message to add your name in support of the young marine accused of murdering a combatant in Iraq. He called out to his buddies that the person was faking, the person apparently made a suspect move and the marine shot him dead. There was another combatant in the room who identified himself as being wounded.....The marines did not shoot him. The do-gooders and bleeding hearts at the ACLU are claiming the marine is guilty of a war crime. This is ridiculous! - Bill O'Reillyof the Fox News Channel feels there is overwhelming support for this young Marine - Let's prove him right - we can make a difference! The servicemen fighting for our freedom and safety deserve our support...... Support is indicated by adding your name to the list that follows. Back any number of ways.

1. The first concern is about the fate of a Marine that is presumed to be in some legal jeopardy over wartime actions. Fine. Except that as already pointed out in this thread, this particular marine’s case is currently inconclusive. And if it were still under review, it would not be decided by an internet petition. CMs don’t work that way.

(This is not part of the email, but is further background.) The shooting was caught on video. While that was shot documentary style, it could not demonstrate what was really going on inside the head of the Marine or the guy he shot. What we did see in that footage was a sudden panic from the Marine shooting at someone who was of no threat to him. Further investigations and interviews revealed that the “enemy” was wounded and left there earlier by another unit. There was no faking about it.

2. Having made the case for the Marine and the subsequent call-to-action in five sentences, the next one blames the entire dilemma on the ACLU. Hello? This was an unprovoked invasion of this country. The U.S. started it. In truth, the actual dilemma lies within our own U.S. Constitution.

3. And then in the most glaring case of unintentional irony, the email suggests bona fides are from Faux News and Bill O’Reilly. I would laugh if it wasn’t so tragic. This child (distributing the email, I doubt she has the sense to author it) was left behind, but the NCLB Act that is not intended to foster critical thinking could not save her whatever her generation might be.

P.S. Many have suggested that you drop her services. That would be my gut reaction, too. (I have cut off my immediate family for their mindless support of this administration. And being responsible Christians, they have finally removed me from their email lists as well as any further contact.) Anyway, you might want to consider severing your relationship for additional reasons, like math. I personally don’t want to exchange money with someone this stupid even if they have a computer program to do the calculations. Stupid is as stupid does. (FM)
