Iran Oil Coridor
Okay we all know what the Bush Corporate cartel want. And If you look at the map bellow it shows they would only have to actually control HALF of that country to get it. There's nothing in the eastern half of Iran to to go after. It's known that this administration is ran by Corporate Executives, and not military experienced people. Thus the quagmire in Iraq. I used to work for a rather large corporation who's only real concern was their stockholders and the bottom line. So the workers and (in this case our troops) were always working shorthanded, under supplied and so on, and were told to 'suck it up' when the going got tough. And just what were the American Oil Company's record profits reported this last year? I didn't hear of one below 80%. It's all about greed people bottom line.

11. The problem is
Iran's oil is heavy crude. It is harder and much more expensive to refine.

14. Money. Even if no oil is found some people will make big money
The companies that service oil fields, build the infrastructure, feed the employees will be the ones who make the cash.

Isn't that what Halliburton does?

2. The Pentagon is NOT run by corporate whores.
It's run by cold-war dinosaurs who think they're still fighting Soviet Russia, who at that time thought they were still fighting the Nazis. Hence the quagmire.

6. Great Map
Thanks. Looking at that map I think that we know what BushCo have in mind. Sharon and Bush just got through planning the war down in Texas. Didn't Ted Kennedy say the Iraq war was planned in Texas. The more things change the more they stay the same......

7. Actually We Would Only Have To Control Approx. 10% Of Iran
Following is a more detailed map of Middle East fossil fuel resources.

(Remove the extra g in the extension .jpg)

g

Most of the oil fields are located within 70 mi. of the Iraq border, in flat country. The gas fields are located along the gulf.

10. Wow your map makes mine up there look like shit ! :)
Thanks I'll post it here too ...... quite an eye opener to those who think Bush wouldn’t try to control that area for lack of troops. His 'invasion' would only have to go so far on the ground. Bush's air assault would of course precede any of this on the basis of the propagated 'Nuclear Threat' ....... and thus another quagmire. Not to mention further pissing off the rest of the world to what end I care not to imagine. Peace.
