Did you sign up for Sirius right out of the gate?
Does someone own XM that you are going to tell me I am not supposed to like/support?
Will XM not take your money?

Seriously I have no idea what the deal with this is.

9. Some of us got Sirius radios and have time left on our subscriptions.
Plus the idea of decreasing your reach for more $$$$ shows you something about the real priorities of AAR.

10. That's it EXACTLY!
They're now on both networks, but by signing an exclusivity deal, they're going to lose a million + faithful listeners from Sirius.

Danny Goldberg's a major league asshole, IMO...:grr:

2. AAR's CEO sucks ass, not AAR's talent.
If this rumor is true, AAR corporate are complete idiots. Shrinking your reach for money is a very stupid move.

3. Especially when most dedicated AAR listeners chose Sirius
XM doesn't even carry their whole feed.

4. AAR's new CEO
is screwing loyal listeners who bought Sirius to get the whole AAR line-up. I have 8 months left on my contract.

He claims that it's a no-brainer because XM has more subscribers, as if it was always an exclusive deal. IT WASN'T! AAR is losing listeners by dumping the Sirius subscribers.

It's obviously about the money.

Another thing that scares me is that XM has a deal with AOL for online radio. If, repeat IF, AAR decides to discontinue it's free live stream someday because of this deal, I'm going to be furious!

8. Same setup here. Three stations and one receiver (about $300).
And a pre-paid Sirius subscription through September '05.

6. It's a business, not a non-profit.

No paypal button. They are still growing.

I'd brace myself for more changes.

No, I'm not saying you shouldn't be mad.

11. A business, eh? Well, how about a class action lawsuit!
AAR, through it's representative Randi Rhodes, promoted Sirius over XM. I know she did it because Sirius aired her entire show, but she's still a very public face of AAR. That could have very well influenced people to spend much money on Sirius equipment and services and now, it's not quite the service we purchased due to AAR's actions. I smell a lawsuit here.

Now then, do you really feel that we should treat AAR just like any other business?
