In a truly just world........
Edited on Mon Apr-11-05 07:50 PM by Bouncy Ball
(finish the sentence)

In a truly just world, bush would not only be impeached for being a war criminal (among other things), he would be in a federal prison.

In a truly just world, we'd have a truly balanced media, that saw its job as reporting news to the people and watching the government, no matter WHAT party is in charge at the time.

In a truly just world, politicians would not accept monies from lobbyists/industries/corporations in order to buy their votes and their colleagues' votes.

Now it's your turn.

In a truly just world....

2. In a truly just world,
people who play sports would not make tens of millions per year while people who save lives are living paycheck to paycheck.

6. I would also add that
in a truly just world, the bloated (to make an understatement) budget of the Department of Defense would be cut back and those monies given to things like health care and public education.

To borrow from Jerry Springer today (I caught a few minutes of him and was impressed), in a truly just world, the US government would realize there are more types of security other than military security.

9. In a truly just world...
Bush would never have been President in the first place.

Bill Clinton would never have been impeached

Marijuana would be legal (and Bill would be spending his days in a hot tub with a bong and some Hooters waitresses while Hillary is in Washington )

Tim McVeigh would never have been executed, but rather thrown into a regular prison for life, of course full of black and Latino inmates.

Tom DeLay would be in a cell down the hall.

Martin Scorsese would have an Oscar by now.

11. I think it's more "just" than people (Republicans) realize
(Sorry for not following along)

I've been thinking about the mercury/toxins/autism link and how our gov't doesn't want to regulate cancer-causing ingredients in cosmetics, pesicides, you name it.

It's going to hurt everyone - regardless of wealth, income, party or status.

This was from a year ago - Robert Kennedy Jr. - it sums it up pretty well:

The Junk Science of George W. Bush

http://www.thenation.com/doc.mhtml?i=20040308&c=1&s=kennedy

I heard him on FSTV last night - giving a speech at Berkeley a month ago or so. He really lays it out there.

This is basically the speech:

For the Sake of Our Children

The less money that one makes, the more that one has to choose between breaking nuisance statutes and paying their bills.

Bush would be taken and reformed and rehabilitated into a sane person.

In a truly just world, the media would be full of people from FSTV, the BBC, the Progressive, and other balanced news sources
