Rick Santorum raised $250,000 when he went to Florida to pray with Schiavo

Santorum cancelled his Social Security event "out of respect" for Schiavo's family but didn't think there was anything innappropriate about going on with his fundraiser.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports Santorum finance director Rob Bickhart disclosing that the total take was about $250,000.

Capitolbuzz is also saying everyone should call Rick Santorum's office and demand that he return the $250,000 he raised in Florida when he was supposedly praying with the Schiavo family.

Ask him why it was inappropriate to hold a town meeting on Social Security but alright to raise money for his re-election campaign.
