Did the hunting of Clinton make America weak?
Did the constant RW persecution of Clinton, the times he had to appear in Congress to answer for his 'crimes', and all the other things allow for 9/11 to happen?

Yes OR No

1. I don't think so because Clinton & his security staff briefed ShrubCo
on the security issues. They chose to ignore EVERYTHING associated with the Clinton admin. Much ass they would like to, I really don't think they can BLAME IT ON CLINTON...AGAIN!

2. It put a hateful face
on the American political system and divided this country even more than Reagan did.

What was the final word on the chinese campaign contribution scandal?

4. No
aWoL alone is responsible for the fiasco. If he did not just let it happen he planed and executed it.

5. I can argue both points
One one hand, no, it didn't because Clinton and his administration were able to stop the millenium plots.

One the other hand, Clinton held back, or was overly-cautious in pursuing OBL because he was afraid of Republican criticism and claims of "Wag the Dog".

soooooooo

like so many other things, it's a mixed bag....

6. Yes
I think it definitely made America weaker, but wether it helped 911 happen is anyone's guess.

7. America was already weak because of DECADES of bad foreign policy
You don't stomp on third world countries by supporting dictators over them, by undermining their elected governments, or by directly attacking them and not seriously expect that no one will get the idea of lashing out at you. That's just naive.

Foreign policy in the US has arguably been dominated by business interests throughout most of its history. Vietnam was a great money-making racket for defense contractors as well as a testing ground for new tactics.

The only foreign war the US could come close to being remotely justified in fighting in the 20th century was World War 2. That war came closest to fitting the definition of self-defense or even self-preservation.
