SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Investigators searched the Las Vegas home of a woman who claimed she scooped up a mouthful of finger along with her chili at a Wendy's restaurant last month.
Wendy's maintains the finger did not enter the food chain in its ingredients. All the employees at the San Jose store were found to have all their fingers, and no suppliers of Wendy's ingredients have reported any hand or finger injuries, the company said.

are cops allowed to bust into someones house and point guns at their kids faces and trash the house ...were they afraid the woman was going to chop off all their fingers and make chili?

this smells like the patriot act to me ...or were cops allowed to do that all along.

3. I don't approve of Gestapo tactics that seem to be the norm under

Ashcroft/Gonzalas and due process is a basis of our society.

However, if it's true that the finger was taken by this woman to the Wendys and planted in the chili (which I think likely) then there may be a donor body laying around her house. In fact I think they now believe the digit to be from a dead relative.

Handcuffs are standard operation when a house is being searched, but guns in the face of children is typical Buxh police state bullshit. I expect more of the same in the future.
